Fifty Shades of Talmud: What the First Rabbis Had to Say about You-Know-What by Maggie Anton. Author Maggie Anton reveals how Jewish tradition is more progressive in many respects, and more bawdy, than one might think.
Sex and the Talmud. Those aren’t two things you hear mentioned in the same breath very often.
But Maggie Anton is out to change that with her new book, the slyly named “Fifty Shades of Talmud: What the First Rabbis Had to Say about You-Know-What” (Banot Press).
Anton will discuss the book — her first non-fiction endeavor – November 8 at 5:30 pm at Temple Mount Sinai.
