El Paso Holocaust Museum & Study Center is excited to announce its annual summer camp will be July 17 – 21, 2017. This year’s theme, “Stand Up. Speak Out. – Everyone Can Be a Hero,” will focus on young people who used their words, their art, their music, and more to courageously protest injustice during the Holocaust while expressing their identity and individuality. Drawing inspiration from their bravery and creative activism, we will explore what these young people did to make a difference, in order to empower today’s youth to stand up and speak out about what matters to them. Through fun hands-on activities, games, art, music, special guests, and more, camp participants will not only learn amazing stories from the past and the individuals who lived them, but they will also learn how everyone can be a hero- no matter their age!
