El Paso Jewish Federation Housing (Chai Manor) is more than a residential building. It was established to enhance the quality of independent living for residents by providing comfortable and dignified surroundings and a variety of support services.
Chai Manor provides spacious living quarters in a warm and caring atmosphere.

Residence Information and Requirements
This apartment complex is open to all persons capable of independent living who will be responsible residents. Those who meet age and income requirements are eligible regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex or national origin.
Age Requirements - To be eligible, according to federal regulations, applicants must be at least 62 years of age. If a couple, only one need be 62. If applicant is disabled, the minimum age for residency is 18.
Income Requirements - To be eligible, an applicant must meet Housing and Urban Development income guidelines for El Paso. All information provided by applicant will be confidential.
Rental Cost - Individuals selected for admission are eligible for rent subsidy. A utility allowance is also provided.
