Where Does the Money Go?

An important function of the Federation is the equitable distribution of communal funds. A very transparent, lean and detailed budgeting process has allowed us to do quite a bit with not very much. Also in place is a very upfront and fair granting process:

  1. Agencies here and out of town submit applications for grants/allocations.
  2. They present their requests in front of the committee and have an opportunity to provide further information.
  3. A broad-based and highly responsible committee sits, listens and ponders for more than two months and makes recommendations to our board.
